Our purpose is to create experiences that stay #ForEver with our campers. For that, we create opportunities that allow them to grow in a safe and super fun environment, where positive human interactions and the design of our program enhance the best characteristics of their personality, distinguishing themselves as Llanada Campers. Each of our experiences has been intentionally designed to accompany their development in each stage, to this we have called the Camper’s Journey™.

In each stage of the Camper’s Journey™, our campers will be able to live a custom-designed experience according to their special characteristics, ages and different personalities, reaching their most important #milestones.

What is the Night Camp of La Llanada Texas?

Designed for campers aged 6 to 10, Night Camp™ is definitely one of the best ways to experience nature while still in the city. This program has been intentionally designed as the transition between our #DayCampsLlanada and our Sleepaway Camps, focusing on overcoming the challenge of that first separation, on friendship, and on bonding through campfire nights and contact with nature, living out an adventure every camper dreams of.
Night Camp™ is ideal for parents who want their campers to explore a bit of independence while staying close to home for a short period. If you haven’t yet decided to take the big step into our Sleepaway Camps due to distance from home, this is the perfect option for you.

Night Camp @Katy Ranch

Where is Night Camp located?
Our Night Camp™ program will be held at the facilities of our Day Camp at Katy Ranch, where campers will sleep 4 nights [from Monday to Friday] alongside our #StaffLlanada. Night Camp is perfect for staying close to home while creating friendship bonds and practicing their social skills.
The weeks of Night Camp™ begin on Monday morning and end on Friday afternoon [we will provide schedule details closer to summer]. Transportation is not provided, and parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up campers at our Katy Ranch location.
Where do the campers sleep?

At Katy Ranch, we have rooms with bunk beds where campers will sleep accompanied by members of the Llanada Staff. They will also enjoy the facilities and contact with nature sitting around the campfire at night. It will be the perfect environment for a spectacular experience.
Campers will be divided into girls and boys grouped by age and will sleep in different rooms with bunk beds and separate bathrooms.
What activities do campers do at Night Camp?

During the day, Night Camp™ campers will engage in various typical camp activities such as archery, sports, crafts, experiments, camp games, and much more. They will also have time to swim and enjoy the pool [the swimming activity is always supervised by a lifeguard and our Llanada Directors].
But what makes Night Camp™ truly unique are the activities we do at night, under the starry skies, around special campfires where sometimes we sing, sometimes we make hot dogs and s’mores, and other times we simply enjoy being present, watching the fire, and living unforgettable moments with our new friends.

How is communication with campers at Night Camp?

Communication will be through our Directors, who are responsible for the emotional and physical safety of our campers, via a Phone Number that will be communicated to parents via email before the week begins.
All the information you need before and during Night Camp week will be received through our Bunk1 app. There, we also publish many photos daily. Instructions on how to download it will be provided at the time of registration.
What if they feel homesick?
Preparation before summer is key for campers to have the best experience. Being able to participate in a Night Camp™ experience, especially for those campers sleeping away from home for the first time, is an achievement that fills us with pride as campers and makes us feel strong. Parents, reinforce the positive aspects of the experience and encourage them to reach that feeling of satisfaction.
Feeling homesick during the week is normal, and our directing team is trained and prepared to help our campers and their parents manage it collaboratively and with open communication.
